Good Morning Lord,
Thank You for a quiet morning. These quiet mornings, when I use them correctly, seems to set my day off on a great direction. When I have time to think on You, talk to You, consider our day before it get's started. Thank You for yesterday, for just day that You seemed closer and more involved in my life. I enjoy it when I can see that I am walking according to Your will.
Thank You for allowing praise team practice to go well. Thank You for helping me be able to get some of the music I was looking for. Help us always Lord to be pointing to You, helping others to see You as worthy of praise and then helping lead them to the place where their hearts can truly worship You in spirit and in truth. I know that our lives are worship. I know that every time I bow my will to Yours it is worship. Help me to do that more. Help me to praise You out loud and in the open and freely. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Help me to enjoy the freedom of my salvation and not allow satan to make me feel bound. Help me not to fall for the lies of the enemy. Your word tells me we are made free to BE FREE. Not to be bound again! Thank You, thank You for revealing that to me. Help me see clearly when satan is trying to bind me up with things that don't matter, that aren't true, and that are seriously only meant to shackle me down.
Thank You for Your presence in my life, for being so tangible to me and never leaving me - even when I was running away from You. Thank You for chasing me, for leaving the 99 to find the one.
Thank You for my husband's salvation. Thank You for the privilege of discussing Your word with him and for being able to listen to him lead prayer in church. Lord, please move in power in those families where wives have been praying for their husbands for years and waiting for them to realize Your love for them. Help them to show Your love to their husbands, help them to strengthen up and survive conviction, and help them to wait. Please send people to speak truth and show Your love to their husbands, 10 people a day who really show Your love well and speak Your truth IN LOVE. Thank You Lord for the ones who followed the leading of Your Spirit so closely and who loved my husband before he had surrendered his heart to You. Who proved Your love to him so that he could see it in action and know that it was different. Thank You for a million acts of obedience that ended with one man's salvation. Please help me to be that obedient to help in any way bring about the salvation of another.
I have my list of husbands, my list of prodigals. I pray them again to You. I put their names before Your throne and ask that You move in power to bring them to themselves, allow them to understand Your love for them, allow Your love and Your truth to begin filling their hearts and removing the lies of the enemy from their lives.
I pray for those who are in Satan's grip right now, walking in rebellion. I pray that they would come to themselves. I pray that the season of the pleasure of sin would be short and stop abruptly. I pray that You would allow the pig slop to look, taste, and smell like pig slop. I pray that very shortly they would realize what they are wallowing in and have a desire to return home to The Father. I pray that You would protect them from death so they would able to live to repent. I pray for Your mercy for them and pray for Your revelation for them. Please do not give up, I know they are as precious to You. Your love never fails, it never gives up, it never runs out on me. . .
Thank You for my encouragers, for the ones who help me stay focused on You, who are the cheerleaders when I am down. Thank You for the people who have shaped my life, one little step at a time. I can think of most of the big ones, but not really all of the little ones. Thank You for the one little Sunday School teacher who didn't have a heart attack and didn't attack me when I had a very unique and unchurchy answer for one of her questions. Thank You for her. I have always been impressed by her grace.
Please be with my friends who are struggling with situations that stress their faith, that wear them down, and steal their joy. Please be real and tangible to them and send them encouragers. Please strengthen them and give them Your truth to lean on.
Please strengthen my friends with cancer. Please bring healing to their bodies, and peace to their minds and families.
